~ Lesson Log Two ~

Today We performed the sketches we received last lesson. Performing the 'Four Yorkshire men' was different from the other sketches that were handed out, It didn't come across funny to the audience as some of the audience didn't get the jokes, and because none of my group couldn't do a yorkshire accent so we tried with the accents and some of the responses fro the audience were " what accent was that". While watching other performances I saw how the most dullest of subject could become funny. My favourite sketch was 'Supper duper computer'. This was because it was relevant for today and technology. I felt I understood more about comedy and how relevant things can be made funny.

~ Lesson Log One ~

Todays lesson was an introduction to comedy and making your own comedy sketches. I enjoyed this lesson as it was an insight to how a simple idea could become funny. I was in a group and was given a Monty Python's 'The Four Yorkshire men sketch'. This sketch was about four Yorkshire men over exaggerating about the conditions in which they used to work in before they became rich. Learning about comedy and how to use it to my advantage is my main priority.
